Money flows directly client → contractor via Stripe Connect. We never touch your funds.

We use Stripe Connect: each contractor connects their own Stripe account, and clients pay you directly. Hometown Workforce never holds your money.

What this means for liability

The platform isn't a payment processor — Stripe is. Disputes, chargebacks, payouts: all handled by Stripe under your account.

When does this go live?

The Stripe Connect onboarding is rolling out in the next release. Until then, you can mark invoices paid manually and handle payment outside the platform.
