How Hometown Workforce works
A 2-minute tour of the three portals: client, contractor, and admin.
Three portals, one platform
Hometown Workforce is split into three places, each tuned for a role:
- Clients book services through a friendly AI scheduler at /portal/chat?new=1.
- Contractors run their own CRM (jobs, quotes, invoices, network, referrals) at /portal/contractor.
- Admins review verifications, monitor the AI matcher, and manage the platform at /dashboard/v2.
Your account starts on whichever side you signed up as. Dual-profile accounts can switch from the avatar menu in the top-right.
What's unique
- AI-driven intake. Clients describe what they need in plain language; the AI matches them with a verified contractor and proposes time slots.
- Contractor-to-contractor referrals. If you can't take a job, you can pass it to a friend in your network with one click.
- Real verification. Public client jobs only route to contractors who passed identity verification — your CRM is unlocked the moment you sign up.
