What happens during contractor signup, and how soon you can start working.
Sign up
1. Visit /register and pick the contractor option. 2. Fill in name, email, phone, password. 3. After signup you land on a guided onboarding for your business profile.
What you can do immediately
The minute you finish onboarding:
- Schedule your own jobs (Quick Schedule).
- Send quotes and invoices.
- Connect with other contractors.
- Pass and receive job referrals.
What unlocks after verification
Public client jobs from the AI scheduler. When a stranger walks in via /portal/chat and says "I need an electrician," we only route them to contractors who passed identity verification. Upload your ID + (optional) license / insurance from /portal/contractor/verification — admin review is usually 1–2 business days.
